Our mix of core and project grants has enabled our grantee partners not only to develop as organisations but also to initiate activities (i.e. campaigns, research, advocacy, etc…) that have an impact on the lives of millions of Europeans.

Centre for Democracy and Technology (CDT EUROPE) promotes and protects democracy and human rights in European tech law and policy. They work on key legislation in the EU, and form broad coalitions to raise the voices of those most impacted by tech policies.

The Britain Yearly Meeting consists of CSOs from different sectors, including faith based, international development, environment and housing. It challenges the shrinking space for civil society through an advocacy strategy and public debate.

BEUC is the umbrella group for 45 independent consumer organisations from 32 countries. BEUC’s main role is to represent them to the EU institutions and defend the interests of European consumers.

Bellingcat is an independent international collective of researchers and citizen journalists, with thousands of volunteers and a small core staff. They use verifiable digital information to uncover wrongdoing and to advance justice and accountability.

The Network of Community Organizations for Education, led by Association 61, is an initiative by a network of organisations to protect an open, ideology-free education system in Poland. The aim is to counteract centralising and restrictive trends in education.

AlgorithmWatch monitors and unpacks algorithmic / automated decision-making systems (ADMS). Algorithmwatch considers it crucial to hold ADMS democratically accountable, and develop technical tools and governance mechanisms to achieve this.

Access Now defends and extends digital rights through direct technical support, policy engagement, global advocacy, grassroots grantmaking, legal interventions, and convenings. Access Now Europe shapes policy discourse at the EU level.

444.hu is an independent, award-winning Hungarian news portal covering public affairs. 444.hu holds the powerful to account and amplifies the voices of the vulnerable through public service journalism and investigations.
